I've spent years explaining complicated things to people who don't have time for complicated things. The In Plain English series grew out of a frustration: why do so many important topics feel deliberately obscure?

Each book starts with a question I couldn't fully answer myself, and ends only when I'm satisfied that any thoughtful reader could walk away genuinely understanding it. No filler, no condescension, no shortcuts on accuracy.

When I'm not writing, I'm probably reading something I'll eventually have to explain in plain English.
